The 1988 Italian Grand Prix was a Formula One race held on September 11, 1988 at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza, Monza. It was the twelfth race of the season. It is often remembered for the 1-2 finish for the Ferrari team, and as the only race of the 1988 season that McLaren-Honda failed to win.
