Anna Kendrick (born August 9, 1985) is an American actress and singer. She began her career as a child actress, and played Dinah Lord in the 1998 Broadway musical High Society. Kendrick rose to international fame in 2009 after playing Natalie Keener in Up in the Air, for which she received nominations for the BAFTA, Golden Globe, SAG, and Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
