East Tyrol, occasionally East Tirol , is an exclave of the Austrian state of Tyrol, separated from the main North Tyrol part by the short common border of Salzburg and Italian South Tyrol (Südtirol, ). It is congruent with the administrative district (Bezirk) of Lienz.
