Mycoplasma haemofelis
(which used to be called
haemobartonella
).
Haemobartonella

eperythrozoon
species were reclassified as
mycoplasmas
.
Coinfection
often occurs with other infectious agents, including:
feline leukemia virus
(FeLV),
feline immunodeficiency virus
(FIV),
ehrlichia
species,
anaplasma phagocytophilum
, and
Candidatus
Mycoplasma haemominutum
.
