, with the exception of a small gap in
New Jersey
. In New Jersey, it runs along much of the main line of the
New Jersey Turnpike
, as well as the Pearl Harbor Memorial Extension (formerly and still commonly known as the
Pennsylvania Turnpike
Connector) and the New Jersey Turnpike's northern continuation to the
George Washington Bridge
, also maintained by the
New Jersey Turnpike Authority
, for a total of . Located in the northeastern part of the state near
New York City
, the Western Spur of the New Jersey Turnpike, considered to be
Route 95W

New Jersey Department of Transportation
, is also part of I-95. There is also a segment of I-95 to the north of
