The Captain's Daughter is the debut album by Eight Bells, an experimental heavy rock band based in Portland, Oregon. Eight Bells was formed by guitar player Melynda Jackson after SubArachnoid Space disbanded in 2011. The music is described as expressionistic experimental metal. The album was released 19 February 2013 by Seventh Rule Recordings. The album was engineered by Billy Anderson The band toured in April 2013 to promote the album.
