Aharon Amar , is a former Israeli footballer who made his name at Maccabi Haifa. His career at the club put him for a long time in the history books as the most prolific goal scorer to ever wear the green and white when he scored a league record seventeen goals in the 1958–59 season (thirty years later, Zahi Armeli tied this feat).
