Asuncion (or Ascuncion) (from Spanish meaning "assumption") is the third northernmost island in the Northern Mariana Islands chain in the Pacific Ocean. The island is uninhabited. Asuncion is situated northwest of Agrihan and southeast of the Maug Islands.
