Bulgarian Exarchate
The Bulgarian Exarchate ( Balgarska ekzarhija) was the official name of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church before its autocephaly was recognized by the Ecumenical See in 1945 and the Bulgarian Patriarchate was restored in 1953.
