Cape Farewell Archipelago (also Nunap Isua Archipelago) is located in Kujalleq municipality, Greenland. It is separated from the mainland's south coast by Prince Christian Sound. Its several islands are characterized as large and mountainous, surrounded by fjord-like passages. The archipelago takes its name from Cape Farewell, a headland of Eggers Island (also known as Itilleq). Eggers is the southernmost island in the group, while Sangmissoq (also known as Christian IV island) is the largest. Others islands include Avatdlerssuaq, Ikeq, and Quernertoq.
