Shenzhen BYD Daimler New Technology Co., Ltd., trading as Denza, is an automobile manufacturing company headquartered in Shenzhen, China, specialising in luxury electric cars and a 50:50 joint venture between BYD Auto and Daimler AG. It was founded in May 2010. The first production model for the joint venture is the Denza all-electric car with an all-electric range of up to . While its sole model was scheduled to be launched in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen in September 2014, in June of 2014 the launch date was pushed back to late 2014. The car was put on sale in China in December, 2014.
