Dona Maria II (4 April 1819 – 15 November 1853) "the Educator" or "the Good Mother" , was Queen regnant of the Kingdom of Portugal and the Algarves from 1826 to 1828 and again from 1834 to 1853. She was a member of the House of Braganza.
