Mendel Rosenblum
Mendel Rosenblum (born 1962), is a professor of Computer Science at Stanford University, and one of the co-founders of VMware. Since 2008 he is a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery "for contributions to reinventing virtual machines", and had previously received the ACM SIGOPS Mark Weiser Award (2002). He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of California, Berkeley and BA in Math from the University of Virginia. While at UVA, Mendel Rosenblum was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa. At Stanford his research group developed SimOS.
