Neijiang (; Sichuanese Pinyin: Nui⁴jiang¹; Sichuanese pronunciation: ; ) is a prefecture-level city in the southeast of Sichuan province, People's Republic of China. It is located on the Tuo River and is a transportation and food-processing center. Its population was 3,702,847 at the 2010 census whom 1,251,095 in the built-up (or metro) area made of 2 urban districts (Shizhong and Dongxing).
