The Okinawa Plate is a minor tectonic plate in the northern and eastern hemispheres stretching from the northern end of Taiwan to the southern tip of the island of Kyushu. To the east lies the Ryukyu Trench and the Pacific Plate. It is separated from the Yangtze Plate (sometimes considered part of the Eurasian Plate) by a rift that forms the Okinawa Trough which is a Back arc basin.
