Prokopios Pavlopoulos ( , born 10 July 1950), commonly shortened to Prokopis, is the seventh and current President of Greece. A lawyer, university professor and politician, in 2004–09 he was Minister for the Interior (as Minister for the Interior, Public Administration and Decentralisation from 2004 to 2007 and Minister for the Interior and Public Order from 2007 to 2009).
