eponym
of Mount Ptous in
Boeotia
on which the town
Acraephnium
was situated. He was believed to have been a son of either
Athamas
and
Themisto
, or of
Acraepheus
and Euxippe, or of
Apollo
and Zeuxippe, a daughter of Athamas.
