Scarborough Shoal, also known as Scarborough Reef, Democracy Reef , Huangyan Island , Bajo de Masinloc and Panatag Shoal (Filipino: Kulumpol ng Panatag), is a shoal located between the Macclesfield Bank (disputed between the two Chinas) and the Filipino Luzon island in the South China Sea.
