Shawn Harris (born June 24, 1982) was the lead singer and guitarist for pop punk group, The Matches. He is an artist and has done the art for several albums, including Matchbook Romance's Voices and Bayside's Shudder. He was born in Berkeley, California and attended Bishop O'Dowd High School in Oakland. He is also a strict vegan and has appeared on PETA's YouTube channel to explain why he chose this eating lifestyle. He has mentioned many times that his goal in music is to write the best song ever and he believes that Leonard Cohen's song "Hallelujah" is the best song ever.
