Shire of Kalamunda
The Shire of Kalamunda is a local government area in the eastern metropolitan region of the Western Australian capital city of Perth about east of Perth's central business district. The Shire covers an area of , much of which is state forest rising into the Darling Scarp to the east. It has a population of 53,567 (2011), making it the most populous shire (as opposed to cities or towns) in Western Australia.
