Tamanrasset (Arabic: تمنراست , also known as Tamenɣest, Tamanghasset or Tamenghest,  Tuareg: ⵜⵎⵏⵘⵙⵜ ) is an oasis city and capital of Tamanrasset Province in southern Algeria, in the Ahaggar Mountains.
