is a Japanese video game artist, designer and director working for Square Enix (formerly Square). He designed characters for the Final Fantasy series, debuting with Final Fantasy V and continuing with various later installments. Additionally, Nomura helmed the development of the Kingdom Hearts series starting in 2002 and was also the director for the CGI film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. He is currently directing the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III.
