The Trouble with Love Is
"The Trouble with Love Is" is a song by American pop rock singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson, for her debut album Thankful (2003). The song was co-written by Clarkson, Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken and co-produced by Rogers and Sturken. It was released as the fourth and final single from the album, on November 12, 2003. The rhythm and blues and R&B ballad finds Clarkson explaining how love can be joyful and sorrowful at the same time. It received mostly positive reviews from music critics, who praised it for being "soulful" and "romantic" and praising Clarkson's vocals, comparing her to Mariah Carey and Beyoncé.
