Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani (;12 December 1880 – 17 November 1976) was a popular Islamic scholar and political leader in British India, (now Bangladesh). He remained a rural-based politician renowned for selflessness and solidarity with the oppressed. His long political tenure spanned the British colonial India, Pakistan and Bangladesh periods.
