Bolivarianism is a set of political doctrines that enjoys currency in parts of
Hispanic America, especially
Venezuela. Bolivarianism is named after
Simón Bolívar, the 19th century Venezuelan general and liberator who led the struggle for independence throughout much of Hispanic America.
