Coalition Provisional Authority
The Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA; ) was established as a transitional government of Iraq following the invasion of the country on 19 March 2003 by the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Poland, forming the Multinational Force (or 'the coalition') aiming to oust the government of Saddam Hussein.
