The Egypt national football team ( al-Muntakhab al-Miṣrīy al-Wațanīy li-Kurah al-Qadam, literally "The Egyptian National Selection for Football"), nicknamed "The Pharaohs", represents Egypt in international association football and is governed by the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), the governing body for football in Egypt. The team plays its home games at the Cairo International Stadium in the nation's capital, Cairo, and their current head coach is Héctor Cúper.
