Kobyaysky District

Kobyaysky District (; ) is an administrative and municipal district (raion, or ulus), one of the thirty-four in the Sakha Republic, Russia. It is located in the center of the republic on the Vilyuy River, by road north of Yakutsk. The area of the district is . Its administrative center is the urban locality (a settlement) of Sangar. Population: 14,178 (2002 Census); The population of Sangar accounts for 32.0% of the district's total population.
