Lambert–St. Louis International Airport
Lambert–St. Louis International Airport is an international airport serving Greater St. LouisMissouri, United States. It is about northwest of downtown St. Louis in unincorporated St. Louis County between Berkeley and Bridgeton. Commonly named Lambert Field, it is the largest and busiest airport in the state with 255 daily departures to about 90 domestic and international locations. In 2014, 12.4 million passengers traveled through the airport. The airport serves as a hub for Air Choice One and Cape Air, focus city for Southwest Airlines and was a former hub for Trans World Airlines and later for American Airlines. It is the primary airport serving the St. Louis area, with MidAmerica St. Louis Airport, located about 37 miles (59 km) east, serving as a secondary metropolitan airport. The two airports are connected by the city's rail mass transit Red Line of the St. Louis MetroLink.
