Lower Silesian Voivodeship or
Lower Silesia Province (in
Polish,
województwo dolnoslaskie ), is one of the 16
voivodeships (
provinces) into which
Poland is currently divided. It lies in southwestern Poland. Its capital and largest city is
Wroclaw, situated on the
Odra (Oder) river. The voivodeship is famous for its large number of
castles and
palaces. It is one of the voivodeships in Poland that is most visited by tourists.
