Mavrodafni
Mavrodaphne or Mavrodafni (Greek: Μαυροδάφνη lit. 'black laurel') is both a black wine grape indigenous to the Achaea region in Northern PeloponneseGreece, and the sweet, fortified wine first produced from it by Bavarian Gustav Clauss in around 1850.
