Moldovan Cyrillic alphabet
The
Moldovan Cyrillic alphabet
is a
Cyrillic alphabet
designed for the
Moldovan language
in the
Soviet Union
and was in official use from 1924 to 1932 and 1938 to 1989 (and still today in
Transnistria
). Its re-introduction was decided by the Central Executive Committee of the
Moldavian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic
on May 19, 1938.
