Necrophilia

Necrophilia, also called thanatophilia, is a sexual attraction or sexual act involving corpses. The attraction is classified as a paraphilia by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) of the American Psychiatric Association. The term was coined by the Belgian alienist Joseph Guislain, who first used it in a lecture in 1850. It derives from the Greek words (nekros; "dead") and (philia; "love").

Nekrophilie bezeichnet eine Sexualpräferenz, die auf Leichen gerichtet ist. Nekrophilie ist im ICD-10-Verzeichnis der psychischen Störungen unter „Sonstige Störungen der Sexualpräferenz“ (F65.8) als Paraphilie klassifiziert.

Necrofilie, Grieks: νεκρος lijk of dode, is een seksuele voorkeur, Parafilie, voor het bedrijven van seks met een lijk. De term zou afkomstig zijn uit het werk van Krafft-Ebing genoemd Psychopathia Sexualis. Necrofilie is in de meeste landen strafbaar en wordt als afwijking beschouwd. In Nederland is het echter niet in het wetboek van strafrecht opgenomen .

La nécrophilie (également nommée thanatophilie ou nécrolagnie) est une attirance sexuelle pour les cadavres. Elle est classifiée en tant que paraphilie dans le Manuel diagnostique et statistique des troubles mentaux (DSM-IV). Le terme est dérivé du mot grec : (nekros ; « mort ») et (philie ; « amour »). Le terme semblerait être illustré pour la première fois dans l'ouvrage de Krafft-Ebing (1886) intitulée Psychopathia Sexualis.
