Orchard, Singapore
Orchard, is a district and retail hub located within the Central Area of Singapore. The district and road got its name from the various orchards and plantations that existed in the area in the early 20th century. It is also known as Tang Leng Pa Sat Koi(Tanglin market street) and Vaira Kimadam (Fakir's place) by the Singaporean Chinese and Singaporean Tamils respectively.
