Pokémon
is a media franchise owned by The Pokémon Company, and created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995. It is centered on fictional creatures called "Pokémon", which humans known as Pokémon Trainers catch and train to battle each other for sport.

Pokemón (subculture)
Pokemón is the name of a subculture among Chile's youth that surfaced in the mid-2000s and began to decline in late 2009. The youth culture (as of 2012) is considered extinct. They were readily identifiable by their angular and pressed hairstyles, reminiscent of characters from the Japanese media franchise Pokémon. It was one of the largest and better known urban youth cultures in the country.
