Praesidium

A presidium or praesidium (Russian prezidium, from Latin praesidere "to superintend", "preside" [related to "president"]; English plural presidiums or pr(a)esidia) is the executive or permanent (often "standing") committee or collective presidency of various legislative bodies and other organizations.
