Jake LaMotta. In 1980, the book was adapted into the well known film
Raging Bull, by
Martin Scorsese. The book is an autobiography about Jake LaMotta's life as a young teenage criminal, his reformation in prison, his boxing years and his struggle with the mafia who kept the title out of reach, and his jealous obsession with his wife Vickie. The book details his life very thoroughly from childhood till the end of his fame.
