Robert Arthur (film producer)
Robert Arthur (November 1, 1909 – October 28, 1986) was an American screen writer and producer. Born in New York as Robert Arthur Feder, he began working as a screenwriter in 1937 with MGM, where he remained for ten years, before moving to Universal Pictures, where he became the line producer for such film series as Francis the Talking Mule and Abbott and Costello. Arthur died in 1986 at the age of seventy-six and was interred in Forest Lawn – Hollywood Hills Cemetery in Los Angeles.
