Samuel Jon "Sam" Hornish, Jr. (born July 2, 1979) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He recently drove the No. 9 Ford Fusion for Richard Petty Motorsports full-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Hornish also competed part-time in the Xfinity Series in 2015, driving the No. 98 Ford Mustang for Biagi-DenBeste Racing.
