Turóc County

Turóc (Hungarian, historically also spelled Túrócz), , /comitatus Thurociensis, ) was an administrative county (comitatus) of the Kingdom of Hungary. Its territory is now in north-western Slovakia, where the corresponding Slovakian name Turiec is only an informal designation of the corresponding territory.
