Vilyuysky District
Vilyuysky District (; ) is an administrative and municipal district (raion, or ulus), one of the thirty-four in the Sakha RepublicRussia. It is located in the western central part of the republic and borders with Zhigansky District in the northeast, Kobyaysky District in the east, Gorny District in the south, Verkhnevilyuysky District in the west, and with Olenyoksky District in the northwest. The area of the district is . Its administrative center is the town of Vilyuysk. Population: 25,696 (2002 Census); The population of Vilyuysk accounts for 40.6% of the district's total population.
