Amin (Arabic أمين) is a given name for males meaning trustworthy. Alternative spellings include Ameen, Amien and Amine, the last being mainly Francophone. (The given name is not to be confused with the word "Āmīn," that is, "Amen.") Amin appears as a common given name among Muslims.

Mullá Abu'l-Hasan-i-Ardikání (‎, surnamed Amín-i-Iláhí; 18311928), better known as Hájí Amín, was an eminent follower of Bahá'u'lláh, founder of the Bahá'í Faith. Amín served as the trustee of Huqúqu'lláh, was posthumously appointed a Hand of the Cause of God by Shoghi Effendi, and identified as one of the nineteen Apostles of Bahá'u'lláh.

Abu Musa Muhammad ibn Harun al-Amin (; * 787; † 813) war der sechste Kalif der Abbasiden (809–813).
