La cosmètica (del grec κοσμητικoς de κοσμoς kosmos: 'ordre' o 'bellesa', 'metica' de 'mesura'), és l'art d'aplicar diversos productes per a embellir o ornamentar el cos humà. Encara que el terme cosmètic s'aplica a productes habitualment artificials per aquest fi o l'objectiu de maquillar qualsevol cosa.
