Dessert
Dessert is a course that concludes a main meal. The course usually consists of sweet foods and beverages, but may include coffee, cheeses, nuts, or other savory items. In some parts of the world there is no tradition of dessert to conclude a meal.

Dessert
Ein Dessert (auch Nachspeise, Nachtisch) ist eine meist süße („Süßspeise“), kalte oder warme Speise, die in der europäischen Küche üblicherweise bei einem mehrgängigen Menü nach dem Hauptgericht und ggf. der Käseplatte gereicht wird.

Dessert
Dans la culture occidentale récente, le dessert est le dernier plat servi au cours d'un repas, typiquement composé d'aliments sucrés. Il est composé de mets plus ou moins sucrés : fruits, pâtisseries, sorbets, flans, etc. Ils peuvent être consommés avec une cuillère à dessert, d'une taille intermédiaire entre la cuillère à café et la cuillère à soupe. Dans une acception plus ancienne, le dessert comprenait aussi le fromage.

دسر
در فرهنگ های سراسر جهان، پی‌غذا یا دسر – که معمولا در پایان یک وعده ی غذایی مصرف می شود- به طور معمول جزو مواد غذایی شیرین می باشد. واژهٔ دسر از واژه فرانسوی کهن " desservir " به معنی جمع کردن روی میز گرفته شده‌است. دسر های مشترک غربی عبارت ان از : " کیک، کلوچه، میوه، ژله، بستنی، فالوده، پودینگ، ماست، بیسکویت، شیرینی، پای ها و آبنبات ها " تنوع دسر ها را می توان در سراسر جهان یافت. از جمله روسیه که در هنگام صبحانه از دسر های بسیار متنوعی استفاده می کنند. در برخی کشور ها برای مصرف کردن دسر از قاشق مخصوصی استفاده می کنند که اندازه ی آن بین اندازه ی یک قاشق چا ی خوری و یک قاشق معمولی است.
