Digoxin
Digoxin is a purified cardiac glycoside similar to digitoxin extracted from the foxglove plant, Digitalis lanata. Digoxin is occasionally used in the treatment of various heart conditions, namely atrial fibrillationatrial flutter and sometimes heart failure that cannot be controlled by other medication.
