The Confederation of Revolutionary Workers' Unions of Turkey (Turkish: Türkiye Devrimci Isçi Sendikalari Konfederasyonu, DISK) is one of the four major national trade union centres in Turkey. It was founded in 1967 as a breakaway union from the Confederation of Turkish Trade Unions, and has a membership of 327,000.

DISC is a behavior assessment tool based on the DISC theory of psychologist William Moulton Marston, which centers on four different behavioral traits, which today are called: dominance, influence, steadiness, and compliance. This theory was then developed into a behavioral assessment tool by industrial psychologist Walter Vernon Clarke. It is important to understand that DISC is not a personality assessment, but rather an assessment of behavior in given circumstances; for example, most people would say they do not behave the same at home and at work - but they are the same single personality. There are many different versions of the questionnaire and assessment. Some date back to the 1940s while others are more recent, more accurate and more advanced.

Disk (amerikanisches Englisch für Scheibe oder Platte) und Disc (britisches Englisch, gleiche Bedeutung) haben die gleiche Bedeutung, werden aber in unterschiedlichen Kontexten angewandt. Disk bezeichnet in der EDV magnetische drehende Speicher oder Begriffe, die sich auf diese beziehen, Disc hingegen optische. Als Ursache für diese Unterscheidung der Schreibweisen wird angenommen, dass die Entwicklung optischer Datenträger primär im europäischen und asiatischen Raum erfolgte, wo traditionell das britische Englisch bevorzugt wird. Heutzutage werden die Wortendungen immer noch primär für die verschiedenen Speichertechniken benutzt, obwohl sie synonym verwendet werden dürfen.

La Türkiye Devrimci Isçi Sendikalari Konfederasyonu (DISK - Confédération des syndicats révolutionnaires de Turquie) est une confédération syndicale turque affiliée à la Confédération syndicale internationale et à la Confédération européenne des syndicats.

Le mot disque est employé, aussi bien en géométrie que dans la vie courante, pour désigner une forme ronde et régulière, à l'image d'un palet — discus en latin.

DISK är en studentkår för studenter vid Institutionen för data- och systemvetenskap (DSV), Campus Kista, vid Stockholms universitet.
