Dungeon
A dungeon is a room or cell in which prisoners are held, especially underground. Dungeons are generally associated with medieval castles, though their association with torture probably belongs more to the Renaissance period. An oubliette is a form of dungeon which is accessible only from a hatch in a high ceiling.

Dungeon!
Dungeon! is a 1975 adventure board game designed by David R. MegarryGary Gygax, Michael Gray, Steve Winter and S. Schwab, published by TSR, Inc.  Dungeon! simulates some aspects of the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) role-playing game which was released the year before, although Megarry had a prototype of Dungeon! ready as early as 1972.
