Entente, meaning a diplomatic "understanding", may refer to a number of agreements:

• The Entente cordiale, 1904 between France and the United Kingdom
• The Anglo-Russian Entente, 1907 between the United Kingdom and Russia
• The Triple Entente, an alliance between Great Britain, France and Russia formed by the two aforementioned Ententes
  • Allies of World War I, with the Triple Entente countries as the main participants, sometimes referred to as "The Entente", "The Entente Powers", or "The Entente Forces"
• The Little Entente, 1920 to 1938 between Czechoslovakia, Romania, and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia
• The Balkan Entente, 1934 to 1938 between Greece, Turkey, Romania and Yugoslavia
• The Baltic Entente, 1934 to 1939 between Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia
• The Conseil de l'Entente, 1959 between Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Benin, Niger, and (in 1966) Togo
• Entente frugale, cooperation between the British and French governments, announced in November 2010
• Entente (type of alliance), a type of treaty or military alliance where the signatories promise to consult each other or to cooperate with each other in case of a crisis or military action.

Entente (frz. ‚Bündnis, Einvernehmen‘) steht für:

• Entente cordiale, ein 1904 zwischen dem Vereinigten Königreich und Frankreich geschlossenes Bündnis
• Triple Entente, ein 1907 aus der Entente cordiale entstandenes Bündnis zwischen dem Vereinigten Königreich, Russland und Frankreich
• in Folge die Siegermächte des Ersten Weltkriegs, USA, UK, Frankreich und Italien, siehe Siegermacht #Erster Weltkrieg
• Kleine Entente, ein Bündnis zwischen der Tschechoslowakei, Jugoslawien und Rumänien von 1920
• Conseil de l’Entente, ein Zusammenschluss ehemaliger französischer Kolonien in Westafrika von 1959
• Entente Européenne d’Aviculture et de Cuniculture, der europäische Verband für Geflügel-, Tauben-, Vogel-, Kaninchen- und Meerschweinchenzucht

Entente is de benaming voor een aantal losse bondgenootschappen in de 20e eeuw, met name die tussen de landen die in de Eerste Wereldoorlog tegenover Duitsland, Oostenrijk-Hongarije en het Ottomaanse Rijk (de Centralen) stonden. De Entente is niet hetzelfde als de Geallieerden tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog.

L’Entente cordiale est la compréhension diplomatique par laquelle la France et le Royaume-Uni tentent de régler leurs antagonismes, en premier lieu le partage de l'Afrique, sous le règne du roi Louis-Philippe, puis sous la Troisième République.

Ententa (czyt. , z franc. entente – porozumienie, Potrójna Ententa, Trójporozumienie) – sojusz pomiędzy Wielką Brytanią, Francją i Rosją. Do jego powstania dochodziło stopniowo. Był odpowiedzią na zawarte w 1882 Trójprzymierze.
