Fleas are insects that form the order Siphonaptera. They are wingless, with mouthparts adapted for piercing skin and sucking blood. Fleas are external parasites, living by hematophagy off the blood of mammals and birds.

3,4-Methylenedioxy-N-hydroxy-N-methylamphetamine (MDHMA; FLEA) is an entactogen, psychedelic, and stimulant of the phenethylamine and amphetamine chemical classes. It is the N-hydroxy homologue of MDMA ("Ecstasy"), and the N-methyl homologue of MDOH. MDHMA was first synthesized and assayed by Alexander Shulgin. In his book PiHKAL (Phenethylamines i Have Known And Loved), Shulgin listed the dosage range as 100–160 mg, and the duration as approximately 4–8 hours. He describes MDHMA as causing entactogenic and open MDMA-like effects, easing communication, and increasing appreciation of the senses.

Flöhe (Siphonaptera) bilden eine Ordnung in der Klasse der Insekten und gehören zur Gruppe der holometabolen Insekten. Von den etwa 2400 Arten der Flöhe sind etwa 70 Arten in Mitteleuropa nachgewiesen. Die Tiere zählen zu den Parasiten. Sie erreichen eine Länge von 1,5 bis 4,5 Millimetern. Die größte Art ist der Maulwurfsfloh (Hystrichopsylla talpae Curtis, 1826), der auf dem Europäischen Maulwurf (Talpa europaea Linnaeus, 1758) parasitiert.

Su fama le proviene de ser miembro fundador de la banda de funk-rock Red Hot Chili Peppers. Sus trabajos con el grupo incluyen multitud de estilos, desde un slap agresivo hasta técnicas más melódicas. Además de sus trabajos con Red Hot Chili Peppers, ha colaborado con multitud de artistas como Metallica, Nirvana, Jane's Addiction, Rage Against the Machine, The Mars Volta, Mick Jagger, Alanis Morissette y Slash, y colaborado en la serie de conciertos Axis of Justice junto a Serj Tankian y Tom Morello entre muchos otros. Vlooien (Siphonaptera, ook wel Aphaniptera) behoren tot de orde van de gevleugelde insecten (Pterygota). Ze hebben ondanks het feit dat ze tot de gevleugelde insecten behoren nooit vleugels, die zijn ze in de loop van hun evolutie verloren. Alle vlooien zijn gespecialiseerde bloedparasieten van gewervelde dieren. Sommige soorten bijten ook huisdieren en mensen. Ze worden hierdoor gezien als een van de belangrijkste plaaginsecten. Vlooien kunnen alleen leven bij dieren met een lichaamsbeharing zoals zoogdieren of een verenkleed zoals vogels. De insecten hebben een afgeplatte en sterk aangepaste lichaamsbouw en meestal krachtige springpoten. De meeste vlooien zijn een tot drie millimeter groot; allemaal zijn ze kleiner dan een centimeter.
