Intimidation (also called cowing) is intentional behavior that "would cause a person of ordinary sensibilities" fear of injury or harm. It is not necessary to prove that the behavior was so violent as to cause or that the victim was actually frightened.

L'intimidation est un comportement intentionnel causant psychologiquement la peur d'être blessé à un individu. Il n'est pas nécessairement prouvé que le comportement soit assez violent pour causer une peur ou que la victime soit effrayée.
